*Parking is limited at Thurston Elementary*
Please plan ahead and carpool or cycle when possible. If you need to
drive, pay attention to signage when you arrive. We’ve attempted to
strategically place presenters, participants and vendors in the easiest
locations. They will be clearly marked and there will be people to help
you. Our recommendation is to park at Thurston Elementary if you're
traveling with two or more people or need to leave during the day. If you're traveling alone or with only one other person, please take advantage of a shuttle running from Thurston Middle School (6300 Thurston Road, Springfield OR) from 7:15 am until 9:15 am and again from 2:30 pm until 4:30 pm. *Bring a laptop* Don’t expect to sit and get at the Google Summit. Presenters have created sessions giving you just enough information with some time to practice with support. ALL the sessions will require a computer. If you can’t bring one, meet a new friend in each session and ask to peak over their shoulder or borrow one in the pod each session. If you borrow a computer, we ask you return it to the trolley after each session and grab one at the next pod. These computers must stay with their pod! *Get a Google Account* Session facilitators might have spares, but you're better off using your own. If your school district doesn't have a Google domain yet and you don't have a consumer-side Google account get one here. *Print a map* There will be people at Thurston Elementary to guide you throughout the day, and this map is always available here but you might want to print a map of the building and bring it with you as there will be few on site. This map also includes information about parking if you must park at the elementary school. You'll find it at: http://goo.gl/Vw9mV |
