Notes from this Workshop
Participants will receive hands-on practice in Google documents and spreadsheets while working on an investigation (The Effects of Acid on Seed Germination) that could be used in a science classroom.  Participants will learn and practice the following:

  1. Accessing Google documents from a website
  2. Brainstorming ideas with a group (of up to 50 people) on a Google document or spreadsheet
  3. Using a document template (like a lab write-up) for students to make their own copy and share it with their teacher and partners
  4. Making tables and graphs on a Google spreadsheet by collecting data (lab materials and already-germinated seeds will be provided for you in this workshop).
  5. Organizing student work that has been shared with you in your Google documents home page.
