About This Presenter Maria Andrea (Maru.) Busico-Flight is from Buenos Aires, Argentina and currently works at Westlake Academy, a charter public K-12 school in Westlake, Texas that offers the International Baccalaureate programme. Maru is responsible of teaching IB - MYP Technology in grades 7-10 and supports teachers in integrating Tech in the classrooms.  In addition to all things edu-technological, she also runs the after school Scottish Dancing Club, Zumba Class and the Summer Activities Camps at Westlake Academy.   Maru's qualifications and experience with the IB have also earned her the positions of IB trainer: workshop leader, site visitor and consultant. She truly enjoys the opportunities that this provides her to visit other IB or candidate schools, train teachers as well as to participate in curriculum development meetings regarding IB Curriculum and Assessment. When she is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family and working as a choreographer for musical productions at K-12 schools and alumni clubs, tap, jazz and scottish dancing.  Currently, she is working on her masters' degree on Educational Technology Leadership.
